Corporate Finance Team

Viktor joined Euram Bank in January 2002 as Chief Executive Officer. He has direct responsibility for Strategy, Corporate Finance, Alternative Investments and Card Payment Services.

Prior to joining Euram Bank, Viktor was a Director of McKinsey & Company. He worked in Germany and Central Europe focusing on Banking and Financial Institutions. Viktor led the turnaround and privatisation of a Czech universal bank, a multi-year program of restructuring of the bank’s business lines and its assets; he also assisted the banking regulator in Slovakia in improving credit management and solvency in four large commercial banks.  During his 18 year career with McKinsey, Viktor set up, built and managed the Prague office of McKinsey of 35 consultants, 3 partners and 70 staff.

Viktor was educated in the University of Cologne, Germany and also received an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1983.  Viktor is fluent in German, English, Czech, Slovak, Portuguese and Spanish.

Sandeep has been heading the Corporate Finance & Investment Banking Team at Euram Bank Asia since January 2010.

Sandeep has gained over 16 years of extensive experience in Financial Services focusing on Corporate & Retail Asset Banking, General Insurance, Equity & Mutual Funds and Real Estate & Depositary Receipt Services. He has been closely working with regulators in his multiple functions in the area of retail and corporate business development.

Sandeep joined Euram Bank Asia from Deutsche Bank AG, where he was Head of Client Management for South & West Asia, Global Equity Services, responsible for business development for Trust & Securities Services and Agency Service.

Prior to this engagement, Sandeep was with The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, where he successfully developed the GDR and FCCB business in India. He was selected as one of the representatives from the depository banks to be part of the Finance Ministry (SEBI, RBI) committee to assess regulatory changes for GDR/FCCB voting rights.

Former engagements include Centurion Bank, Bajaj Allianz, ICICI Lombard and Development Credit Bank.
